Oil Prices Rebound on Strait of Hormuz Uncertainty
Oil prices rebounded on Tuesday, gaining more than 2% after rising nearly 5% on Monday due to uncertainty over when the Strait of Hormuz will reopen.
U.S. President Donald Trump's dismissal of Iran's demand for compensation as a condition for reopening the strait contributed to the increase in oil prices.
Brent crude oil rose to $89.80 a barrel, while U.S. benchmark crude gained 2.6% to $84.28 a barrel.
