Oil prices rose on Thursday as investors weighed the prospects of global supplies following the ongoing Iran war.
The White House confirmed no current negotiations are happening with Tehran despite diplomatic efforts by other countries like Qatar.
Brent crude futures were up $1.16, or 1.32%, at $89 a barrel at 1332 GMT, while West Texas Intermediate crude futures gained 52 cents, or 0.63%, to $82.75.
