Oil Prices Slide on Easing Supply Concerns
Oil prices on global markets declined at the end of the week, with November futures for Brent crude falling by $0.42 or 0.47% to $88.10 per barrel.
The price of October futures for US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by $0.13 or 0.16% to $83.40 per barrel.
The decline in oil prices is attributed to easing concerns over supply disruptions, particularly amid growing expectations that oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz will normalize and continued diplomatic efforts in the Middle East.
