Oil Prices Stable Amid Iran-Oman Talks, US Futures Rise on AI Demand
Oil prices have stabilized due to talks between Iran and Oman aimed at increasing energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
The negotiations helped ease prices this week, with Brent crude rising 0.5% to $87.36 per barrel, according to Bloomberg.
This comes after US economic measures against Tehran proved less harsh than anticipated.
In other market news, U.S. futures are mostly higher as demand for artificial intelligence technology leads to a surge in business for Nvidia and other tech companies with heavy exposure to AI.
Nvidia's shares have jumped over 7% before the opening bell after the company blew past Wall Street expectations as revenue for its computer chips soared.
