Oil prices have remained steady this morning after declining yesterday despite renewed US plans to tighten economic pressure on Iran. The plans, dubbed 'D-Day' by some analysts, aim to limit Iran's oil exports and further isolate the country from global markets.

The EU gas market is also under scrutiny as storage levels look increasingly fragile heading into the heating season. This has led to higher prices for natural gas, with Brent futures holding onto yesterday's losses.

Meanwhile, corn prices have extended their rally as expectations of a smaller US harvest and ongoing Black Sea tensions raise supply concerns.
