Oil Prices Surge Amid Renewed Middle East Violence
Oil prices rose further on Tuesday as renewed violence in the Middle East increased uncertainty over the future of the conflict.
The latest escalation came after more than a month without major fighting, raising concerns about possible disruptions to oil supplies and global markets.
Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, rose 0.8% to $91.23 a barrel, while US benchmark crude increased by 1% to $86.62 a barrel.
Asian stock markets were mixed, with Hong Kong's Hang Seng index falling 0.9% to 25,332.10, and Tokyo's Nikkei 225 gaining 0.2% to 66,420.26.
