Oil States Wins Contract for Buzios 10 Project Rigid Jumpers
Oil States do Brasil has secured a contract to manufacture and supply rigid jumpers for the Buzios 10 project in Brazil's Santos Basin. The equipment will be used in the field's subsea system, operating in water depths ranging from 1,720 to 2,190 meters.
The contract has an 18-month execution period, involving a multidisciplinary team of professionals at Oil States' base in Macaé and Triunfo Logística's facilities at the Port of Rio de Janeiro. This deal reinforces Oil States' presence in complex subsea projects, according to the company.
Notably, the Buzios 10 project involves the installation of the P-82 Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, capable of producing up to 225,000 barrels of oil per day and processing up to 12 million cubic meters of gas daily. Petrobras operates the field with a 92.6% stake, alongside partners CNOOC and CNODC holding 3.7% each.
