Oman Completes Rescue Operations for Stricken Saudi Oil Tanker
Oman has completed rescue operations for the stricken Saudi oil tanker SIDR after an incident off Musandam Governorate.
A Royal Navy of Oman vessel provided logistical assistance to the tanker's crew and evacuated 16 members, ensuring they received medical care.
The tanker had been struck by a projectile approximately two nautical miles northwest of Musandam. Two crew members died in the incident, according to Oman's Maritime Security Centre.
