Oman Exports Plummet as Crude Oil Prices Drop
Oman's merchandise exports fell by 7.3% to RO 23.228 billion in 2025, according to the Central Bank of Oman's Annual Report.
Crude oil exports declined 15.2% to RO 8.403 billion due to a price drop, while refinery exports fell 12.6% and LNG exports dropped 20.2% to RO 2.017 billion.
However, non-hydrocarbon exports rose 7.8% to RO 6.715 billion, driven by machinery and mechanical appliances, chemical products, and base metals.
