Oman has rescued 16 crew members from a Saudi oil vessel that was hit while transiting the Strait of Hormuz last week.

The Sidr supertanker, one of two vessels carrying Saudi oil, reported being hit in the incident. No further details were given about the extent of the damage or the current status of the remaining crew members.
