Oman Rescues Crew Members from Saudi Tanker Hit by Iran

Oman's Maritime Security Center has announced that it successfully evacuated 16 crew members from the Saudi-owned tanker Sidr after an attack by Iran. The Sidr was one of two supertankers carrying Saudi oil hit while transiting the Strait of Hormuz last Monday.

Saudi Arabia reported that the attack on the Bahri-owned tanker had killed two Filipino seafarers, leaving 7 crew members unaccounted for. The vessel had a total of 25 crew members aboard at the time of the incident.
