Oman-Saudi Economic Committee Meeting Aims to Boost Integration
The seventh meeting of the Oman-Saudi Coordination Council's economic committee is set to take place in Salalah, Oman. The session aims to advance economic integration and strategic partnerships between the two nations.
Representatives from both countries will discuss joint initiatives, review proposed projects, and work on minimizing trade hurdles. Key areas of focus include supply chain integration, future factories, non-oil exports, and ensuring equal treatment for Omani and Saudi companies in government procurement.
The meeting also marks the signing of an executive program activating a memorandum of understanding between Oman's Ministry of Economy and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Economy and Planning. This agreement covers the years 2026 to 2028.
