Oman Sees Record Oil Production Growth Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty
Oman's oil production increased by 10.6% in the first half of 2026, reaching 198.01 million barrels compared to 179.05 million barrels in the same period last year.
The average daily oil production rose by more than 10% to nearly 1.1 million barrels per day (bpd) in the first six months of 2026, up from 989,200 bpd a year earlier.
Oil exports posted a moderate growth of 2.4% year-on-year to 155.22 million barrels during the first half of 2026, compared with 151.6 million barrels in the same period last year.
The average price of Omani crude climbed 9.4% to $80.9 per barrel during the January-June period, up from $74.0 per barrel a year earlier.
