OPEC+ Boosts September Oil Production Amid Market Volatility
OPEC+ has agreed to increase September oil production by 188,000 barrels per day for select members in an effort to stabilize the market.
The increase applies to seven countries that had been making voluntary cuts: Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman.
The move is seen as a way to compensate for prior overproduction and support market stability.
