OPEC+ Halts Oil Output Increase in October Amid Global Market Review

The OPEC+ alliance has decided to pause oil output increases in October, as per their statement. This decision was made after a virtual meeting of the member countries, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman.

The participating countries will maintain September's required production for October, according to OPEC. The alliance has been raising oil output on a monthly basis since April 2026.

OPEC+ countries will meet again on October 4 to review market conditions.
