OPEC+ Maintains Oil Output Policy Unchanged for October

OPEC+ has agreed to maintain its oil output policy unchanged for October. The decision was made due to the need for new quotas before deciding on further output steps.

The group had previously agreed to increase production by 1.65 million barrels per day in September, completing a phased rollback of supply cuts first implemented in 2023.

Despite these increases, OPEC+ is still producing far below its targets due to the ongoing war, which has disrupted global oil markets.
