A crucial natural gas pipeline project in New Mexico has been delayed to supply power-generation systems for an upcoming Oracle Corp. data center.

The Green Chile Project pipeline now has a revised in-service date of February 1, 2027, pushing past its earlier targeted date of August 15, according to regulatory filing from Energy Transfer LP's subsidiary Transwestern Pipeline.

The delay is nearly six months and may impact the planned Oracle data center, which was expected to be operational by now. The exact reason for the delay remains unclear.
