The initiative will track various categories, including gold jewelry, estate and inherited collections, high-karat gold, coins, bullion, sterling silver, and platinum.
Glitter Bug Gold Buyers uses XRF technology during evaluations to analyze metal composition. The aggregated information from these evaluations may allow the company to report which gold-purity categories are appearing most frequently and whether those patterns change over time.
