Pakistan Condemns Drone Attacks on Saudi Oil Pipeline
Pakistan strongly condemned drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's East-West Pipeline, reaffirming its support for the Kingdom's sovereignty and security.
The attacks targeted the pipeline in Riyadh and Madinah regions, forcing Saudi authorities to shut down operations as a precaution. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) stated that the attack was a 'flagrant violation of international law' and posed a serious threat to regional peace, security, and stability.
Pakistan's support for Saudi Arabia is in line with its longstanding strategic ties, formalised through the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement signed during the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit. The agreement aims to strengthen collective deterrence, enhance military cooperation, and promote regional stability.
