Pakistan Cuts RLNG Prices Up to 27.7 Percent Amid Lower LNG Costs
The federal government of Pakistan has reduced the price of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) by up to 27.7 percent for August 2026.
The reduction is due to lower LNG prices in the international market and reduced imports from the spot market, with no LNG imported from the spot during August.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced the revised prices based on one imported LNG cargo from Qatar under a long-term contract.
The RLNG price was reduced for consumers of Sui Southern Gas Company by $6.9527 per million British thermal units, resulting in a new price of $18.1345 per MMBtu for August.
