Pakistan Gets LNG Lifeline Through Hormuz Strait Transit
Pakistan is set to receive crucial shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as one vessel has already navigated through the Strait of Hormuz and another is expected to follow soon.
The Al Marrouna, a Qatari LNG carrier, transited the waterway earlier this week and is on track to reach Pakistan by Thursday, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg. Another vessel carrying Qatari fuel is due to cross the Strait in the coming days, heading for the South Asian nation.
