Pakistan Gold Price Drops by Rs500 per Tola Over Weekend

The price of gold in Pakistan has decreased significantly over the weekend. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold declined by Rs500 per tola to Rs459,936. This marks a notable drop from its previous price.

In addition to 24-karat gold, other types of gold also saw decreases in value. The price of 24-karat gold of 10 grams decreased by Rs429 to Rs394,320, while the price of 22-karat gold of 10 grams fell by Rs393 to Rs361,473.

The association noted that these prices were based on interbank exchange rates and had a purity set at 999.1 for 24-karat gold. In contrast, silver experienced an increase in value over the weekend, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs13 per tola to Rs6,949.
