Pakistan Gold Price Skyrockets by Rs4,200 per Tola as Global Market Awaits U.S. Inflation Data

Gold prices in Pakistan rose significantly on August 12, 2026, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs4,200, reaching a new high of Rs463,936. This marks a gain of Rs34,200 over the past month.

The price of 22-karat gold also rose, trading at Rs364,617 per 10-gram. Meanwhile, silver prices saw an increase as well, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs7,111 per tola and Rs6,096 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,413 an ounce, up $42.1 or 0.96% from the previous session, awaiting a critical U.S. inflation reading that could redraw the policy outlook.
