Pakistan Gold Price Surges Rs5,200 Amid Global Market Gains
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday, following gains in the international market. The local price of gold per tola rose by Rs5,200 to reach Rs477,136 during the day.
The increase was in line with the rise in international rates, where gold reached $4,547 per ounce with a premium of $20. This represents a gain of $52 from the previous day's rate.
The price of 10-gram gold also saw an increase, rising by Rs4,458 to reach Rs409,067, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
