Pakistan Gold Prices Dip as Global Rates Ease
Gold prices in Pakistan have fallen by Rs500 per tola following a minor decline in global bullion rates. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold is now trading at Rs427,936 per tola, down from the previous rate. This decrease reflects a drop in international gold prices, where the precious metal has lost $5 per ounce to trade at $4,055.
The local market for silver, however, has seen an increase, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs60 per tola to reach Rs6,351. This contrast between the two metals highlights the volatility of global commodity markets and the impact on domestic prices.
