Pakistan Gold Prices Drop Amid International Market Volatility
Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Saturday due to fluctuations in international markets. The price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 3,700, reaching a new low of Rs. 426,736, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The decrease came after gold prices had gained momentum a day earlier. On Friday, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 3,000 to close at Rs. 430,436.
The price of silver in the local market also recorded a decline, dropping by Rs. 57 to reach Rs. 6,237 per tola. Market analysts attributed the movement in local gold prices to fluctuations in international rates, as domestic prices largely follow global market trends.
