Pakistan Gold Prices Drop Before Bouncing Back Internationally

Gold prices in Pakistan opened the new business week on August 17, 2026, at Rs459,936 after experiencing a decline of Rs500 in the previous session. According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams stood at Rs394,320.

The international market saw the price of gold open at $4,375 per ounce. The prices for other types of gold in Pakistan were as follows: 22-karat gold was priced at Rs421,608 per tola, while 21-karat gold was available at Rs402,444 per tola.

The price of silver per tola increased by Rs13 from the previous session, with an opening rate of Rs6,949. In contrast, the price of 10 grams of silver remained steady at Rs5,957.
