Pakistan Gold Prices Edge Up as Silver Falls Modestly

Gold prices rose modestly in Pakistan's bullion market on Saturday, according to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association. The association reported that 24-karat gold increased in price by PKR 300 per tola, bringing it up to PKR 427,736. In addition, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by PKR 257 to reach PKR 366,714.

The association's rates showed that silver prices fell, with the price of 24-karat silver dropping by PKR 12 per tola to settle at PKR 6,297. This decline in silver prices contrasts with gold's slight gain in Pakistan's market. In contrast, international gold prices also registered a small increase, rising by $3 to close at $4,053 per ounce.
