Pakistan Gold Prices Jump Amid Global Market Volatility

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, with the price of 24-karat per-tola gold increasing by Rs1,700 to settle at Rs428,436. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported this rate.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose, gaining Rs1,457 to reach Rs367,314, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,335 to Rs336,716. The association cited these prices in its Monday report.

Internationally, the gold price climbed by $17 to $4,060 per ounce. Silver prices also recorded an upward trend, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs54 to Rs6,291 and the price of 10 grams of silver rising by Rs46 to Rs5,393.

The association reported these international rates as well, noting that the price of silver in the global market increased by $0.54 to $58.12 per ounce.
