Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid Global Market Downturn
The price of gold continued its decline in Pakistan's local markets on Monday, following a slump in the international bullion market. The global price of gold fell by $24 per ounce to $4,406.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2,400 to Rs463,136, while 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,058 to Rs397,064.
The decline in gold prices was accompanied by a drop in silver prices. The international price of silver fell by 39 cents per ounce to $65.80, resulting in a decrease of Rs39 per tola to Rs7,059 and Rs34 for 10 grams of silver to Rs6,051.
