Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid Global Market Swings
Gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs3,500 on Wednesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of a tola fell to Rs483,036 from Rs486,536 recorded on the last trading day.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs3,100 to Rs414,125. This volatility in local gold prices is due to daily fluctuations in international bullion prices and the rupee-dollar exchange rate.
Meanwhile, global markets saw an increase in gold prices as concerns over a potential dollar decline persisted. Spot gold gained 0.8% to reach $4,630.09 an ounce, while US gold futures rose 0.7% to $4,685.50.
