Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid International Market Decline
Gold prices plummeted in Pakistan on Wednesday, September 2, with a significant drop of Rs11,300 to Rs454,036 per tola for 24-karat gold. According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, this decline represents a substantial decrease.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs9,688 to Rs389,262, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped by Rs8,881 to Rs356,836. In the international market, gold prices fell by $113 to $4,315 per ounce.
The price of silver in Pakistan also saw a decline, with a drop of Rs270 to Rs6,859 per tola, and 10 grams of silver decreasing by Rs231 to Rs5,880. The association reported that the international market price of silver fell by $2.70 to $63.80 per ounce.
