Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid International Market Decline
Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday as they followed the decline in the international market. The price of gold per tola decreased by Rs500 and reached Rs427,936. This is a significant drop from Monday's price when gold per tola reached Rs428,436 after gaining Rs1,700 during the day.
The price of 10-gram gold also fell by Rs428 and was sold at Rs366,886, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Meanwhile, the international rate of gold declined by $5 to reach $4,055 per ounce with a premium of $20.
The price of silver increased by Rs60 to reach Rs6,351 per tola. The fluctuation in prices is likely due to changes in global demand and supply.
