Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet as Global Bullion Rates Fall
Gold prices in Pakistan have taken a significant hit after international bullion prices dropped $151 per ounce to $4,454. This decline had a ripple effect on domestic rates, with gold prices decreasing by Rs12,946 to Rs401,179 for 10 grams.
The drop in global gold prices has caused a correction in the Pakistani market, bringing down the rate from its recent elevated levels. Market participants are now closely monitoring international bullion prices for further direction, as any additional movements could influence rates in Pakistan.
Not only gold but silver prices have also seen a decline in the domestic market, with its price decreasing by Rs397 per tola, bringing the latest rate to Rs7,112 per tola. This drop is another indication of the volatility in global markets and their impact on local rates.
