Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet as International Market Sees Significant Decline
Gold prices plummeted in Pakistan on Saturday as local markets mirrored the decline seen internationally. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs5,600 per tola to Rs456,736.
This represents a significant decrease from previous rates, with the association noting that the international market also saw a substantial drop in gold prices. According to their data, gold fell by $56 to $4,342 per ounce globally.
The association also reported a decline in silver prices, with the rate for silver decreasing by Rs253 per tola to Rs6,871.
