Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet as Silver Sees Gains
The price of gold in Pakistan has dropped significantly, with 24-karat gold decreasing by Rs500 per tola to Rs459,936, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
This decline brings the price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams down by Rs429 to Rs394,320. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold has also fallen in value, with a decrease of Rs393 per 10 grams to Rs361,473.
In contrast, silver prices have seen an increase, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs13 per tola to Rs6,949 and 24-karat silver for 10 grams increasing by Rs11 to Rs5,957. The association notes that these rates are based on interbank exchange rates, with purity set at 999.1 for 24-karat gold.
