Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet by Rs3,700 on August 1
The domestic bullion market in Pakistan took a hit on August 1, 2026, with gold prices plummeting by Rs3,700 per tola. This decline was largely due to losses in the international bullion market, where spot gold fell by $37 per ounce.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price of 24-karat gold dropped to Rs426,736 per tola, down from Rs430,436 in the previous trading session. The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also decreased significantly, falling by Rs3,202 to Rs365,857.
The APGJA revises gold rates daily based on international market trends and local trading conditions. Market analysts pointed out that easing demand for safe-haven assets and profit-taking in international markets contributed to the decline in bullion prices.
