Gold prices have continued to decline in Pakistan, with the rate of one tola falling by Rs800. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold is now being traded at Rs465,336 per tola in the local market. The price of 10 grams of gold has also moved lower, dropping by Rs686 to settle at Rs398,950.

The latest decline follows another substantial reduction recorded a day earlier, when the per tola gold price had decreased by Rs1,800. Consecutive price cuts have eased some of the pressure on buyers after gold remained at historically high levels in the domestic market.
