Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Rs15,100 Per Tola Amid Global Downturn
Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted on Saturday, marking a sharp reversal from earlier gains. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola (24K) dropped by Rs15,100, settling at Rs467,936.
The international market also witnessed a downturn, with gold prices slipping to $4,454 per ounce, down $151. This bearish trend in global bullion markets mirrors the decline seen locally.
Silver prices mirrored gold's downturn, with per tola silver (24K) decreasing by Rs397 to Rs7,112, while 10 grams silver fell by Rs340 to Rs6,097. International silver prices dropped to $66.33 per ounce, down $3.97.
