Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Rs4,300 Per Tola Amid International Decline
Gold prices plummeted in Pakistan on Tuesday, dropping by Rs4,300 per tola in the local market.
The decline was largely due to a decrease in international gold prices, which dropped by $43 to $4,050 per ounce.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs427,436 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs3,687 to Rs366,457.
Silver prices also took a hit, decreasing by 174 rupees to Rs6,223 per tola and dropping by Rs49 to Rs5,335 for 10 grams.
