Gold prices have reached an all-time high in Pakistan, surging to Rs 4,71,936 per tola. This significant increase follows a rise of Rs 13,700 in just one day, as stated by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of gold per 10 grams has also seen a substantial jump, reaching a new high of Rs 4,04,609. In contrast, the global market is witnessing a similar surge, with the gold rate crossing $4495 per ounce.

The international gold price had previously surged by as much as $130 per ounce to $4,488 per ounce, with silver prices also experiencing a significant increase to $66.86 per ounce in the global market.

Experts attribute the surge in precious metal prices to global economic uncertainty, fluctuations in the value of the US dollar, and growing investor interest in safe-haven assets.
