Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Saturday, reaching Rs482,936 per tola after a surge of Rs5,700. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association attributed this rise to the sharp increase in international bullion prices.

In the global market, gold bullion prices rose by USD 57 to close at USD 4,604 per ounce. Silver remained steady at USD 69 per ounce.

The association also noted that domestic silver rates have not changed, remaining at Rs7,379 per tola and Rs6,326 per 10 grams. This stability in international silver prices is reflected in the local market.

In the past three days, gold prices have increased by a total of Rs18,900 per tola. The price jumped by Rs13,700 on Thursday and another Rs5,200 on Friday before reaching the current rate of Rs482,936 per tola on Saturday.
