Pakistan Gold Prices Remain Steady as International Market Flattens
The gold market in Pakistan remained steady on Friday, with prices of 24-carat and 10-gram gold remaining unchanged at Rs483,036 per tola and Rs414,125 respectively. This stability is in line with the international market, where gold prices have also been flat at $4,605 per ounce.
Bullion dealers pointed out that domestic gold prices are typically adjusted by adding a premium of around $20 over international rates, taking into account exchange rate movements and import costs.
In contrast to gold, silver prices in Pakistan saw an increase, rising by Rs180 to Rs7,509 per tola and Rs154 to Rs6,437 for 10-gram silver.
