Pakistan Gold Prices Skyrocket Amid International Market Surge
The price of gold in Pakistan has increased significantly, with the cost of 24-karat gold rising by Rs4,200 per tola to Rs463,936. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, this increase is based on interbank exchange rates with a purity of 999.1 for 24-karat gold.
In addition to the rise in gold prices, silver also saw an increase, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs146 per tola to Rs7,111. The price of 22-karat gold and 10-gram increments also rose, with the 22-karat gold increasing by Rs3,301 to Rs364,617 and the 10 grams of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs3,601 to Rs397,750.
The international market has also seen an increase in gold prices, with a $42 rise in the price per ounce. The association noted that these rates are based on interbank exchange rates and purity standards.
