Pakistan Gold Prices Skyrocket as Global Rates Surge
The gold market in Pakistan experienced a significant surge on Thursday, August 6th, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs 11,300 to settle at Rs 449,236.
This substantial increase in domestic rates follows a major rally in international bullion markets, where spot gold climbed by US$113 to reach US$4,268 per ounce. The sharp jump in prices demonstrates strong volatility in the precious metals space.
