Pakistan Gold Prices Soar as International Rates Rise

Gold prices in Pakistan have risen significantly over the past day, with 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs427,436. This surge was also reflected in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which rose by Rs857 to reach Rs366,457.

The prices of other gold variants also saw a hike, with 10 grams of 22-karat gold increasing by Rs786 to reach Rs335,931. However, silver prices took a hit in the local market, with the price of silver per tola falling by Rs76 to Rs6,215.

In contrast, the international market saw a slight increase in gold prices, with the price of gold rising by $10 to $4,050 per ounce. Silver prices also declined globally, with the price dropping by $0.76 to $57.36 per ounce.
