Gold prices in Pakistan's local market surged by Rs2,000 per tola on Monday following an increase in international rates.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs461,936 per tola.
Silver rates also saw a hike of Rs80 to Rs7,029 per tola, with 10-gram silver prices rising by Rs69 to Rs6,026.
