Pakistan Gold Prices Soar by Rs2,200 as International Market Also Sees Increase
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that gold prices surged in the local market on Saturday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,200 to settle at Rs456,536.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,887 to Rs391,406, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,729 to Rs358,801. The association also noted that the international market saw an increase in gold prices, with a rise of $22 to $4,341 per ounce.
On the other hand, silver prices witnessed a decline. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs113 to Rs6,826, and the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs97 to Rs5,852. In the international market, the price of silver also declined, with a decrease of $1.13 to $63.47 per ounce.
