Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday, September 4, 2026, as international bullion rates rose. The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,900 per tola to reach Rs469,136.

The rise was attributed to a stronger demand for the precious metal and a corresponding increase in global oil prices. Bullion market experts said easing global oil prices had supported demand for gold.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also rose by Rs3,344 to Rs402,208.
