Gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs3,900 per tola on Friday due to an increase in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached a new high of Rs469,136 per tola.

The price of 10-gram gold also rose significantly by Rs3,344 to Rs402,208. This rise is attributed to the increase in international gold prices, which jumped by $39 to $4,466 per ounce.
